A starting dosage of 400mg per day is often prescribed. One tablet is taken orally, once daily with or without food. Sofosbuvir needs to be taken along with ribavirin or in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin for the treatment of chronic hepatitus C (CHC) in adults.
