Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any serious or worrying symptoms. Please Note Genkeran (Chlorambucil) is prescribed under the control of a blood test, kidney and liver function. With bone marrow hypoplasia, the daily dose of Genkeran (Chlorambucil) should not exceed 0.1 mg/kg. Treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in patients with signs of bone marrow failure must begin with prednisone. Therapy with Genkeran (Chlorambucil) should not be stopped with a decrease in the number of neutrophils, but it should be borne in mind that it can continue for 10 days after canceling treatment. Dose reduction is recommended for patients with severe hepatic impairment. Patients with reduced renal excretory function should be closely monitored, as they may develop additional myelodepression associated with azotemia. Genkeran (Chlorambucil) is contraindicated for use during pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding. |
