Bilberry Extract is derived from the bilberry fruit and has been used for over half a century to maintain healthy eyes and vision. These capsules also contain Lutein which is the main carotenoid in the human eye. It exhibits an antioxidant effect, as well as a screening and absorbing effect. Bilberry and Lutein together can help with myopia, diabetic and hypertonic retinopathy, disorder of vision adaptation to darkness, dystrophic retina disease, macular degeneration of retina and cataracts by improving photoreceptor functions, protecting the retina and lens from free radicals induced by light, and by screening and absorbing blue light from central zone of retina.

How should I use Bilberry with Lutein (Bilberry Dry Extract Standardized/Lutein/Zeaxantin)?

Bilberry with Lutein comes in a pack of 20 capsules, with each capsule containing: standardized anthocyanidins (44.25 mg), lutein (6 mg), and zeaxantin (1.2 mg).

• Starting Dosage: one capsule taken two to three times daily
• Maintenance Dosage: one capsule daily

Please Note

Bilberry with Lutein should be used with caution in patients who are taking medications that affect platelet aggregation (such as aspirin, warfarin, NSAIDs), or who have any bleeding disorders such as peptic ulcers. Bilberry extract can interfere with platelet aggregation.
