What is Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) used for? Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) is a topical medication used to treat or prevent hair loss. It contains a combination of a vasodilator and a medication that prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. The vasodilator dilates blood vessels in the scalp to increase hair follicle strength while the reduced conversion of dihydrotestosterone prevents hair loss as this hormone is associated with conditions such as male pattern baldness. Your physician may prescribe this medication to be used along with others or for the treatment of other unlisted conditions, as well. How should I use Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride)? Morr-F (Minoxidil/Finasteride) should always be used according to your physician's instructions and those included with the packaging to get the safest and most effective results from treatment. The medication is normally administered once or twice each week. To apply the solution make sure the scalp is thoroughly clean and dry, part the hair in the areas that are thinning, and apply the medication directly to the scalp.
