What is Validol (Validol) used for? Validol contains Menthyl Isovalerate, is an anti-anxiety agent and mild sedative, that also exhibits moderate reflex and vascular dilation. Produced from valerian root and menthol, Validol can help relieve stress and anxiety without becoming habit-forming. Validol can help with bouts of anxiety, nervousness, panic attacks, hysteria, rapid heart beat, chest pain, hyperventilation, nausea, and motion sickness. Validol is very fast-acting, usually having a beneficial effect in less than 5 minutes. How should I use Validol (Validol)? Each pack of Validol contains of 20 x 60mg sublingual tablets. Validol are sublingual tablets which means they should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve, rather than being chewed or swallowed whole. A dose of one to two tablets can be taken as required, up to a maximum dail dose of 10 tablets per day. Validol usually begins working within five minutes of taking the tablet. You may need to repeat the dose if it is not working as expected. |
