Fish Mox (Amoxicillin)
What is Fish Mox (Amoxicillin) used for? Fish Mox contains Amoxicillin a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can treat bacterial infections in fish. It can be used to treat infected eyes, pop-eye, fin or tail rot, skin ulcerations, columnaris disease, and gill disease. How should I use Fish Mox (Amoxicillin)? Each pack of Fish Mox contains 30 x 250mg capsules. The contents of one capsule per 10 gallons of water should be added to the fish tank each 24 hours for a period of 5 to 10 days. Discontinue use after 5 days if no improvement is noted. It is advised to perform a partial water change before administering Fish Mox. Please Note Fish Mox is not to be used by humans. It is to be used for the treatment of aquarium and ornamental fish only. Keep Fish Mox out of the reach of children. Store Fish Mox in a cool dry place and keep the container tightly closed. Do not give Fish Mox to fish intended for food use. |
