Fortekor Plus is indicated in the treatment of dogs who have congestive heart failure resulting from atrioventricular valve insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy. The active ingredient in Fortekor Plus are Pimobendan and Benazepril Hydrochloride. How should I use Fortekor Plus (Pimobendan/Benazepril Hydrochloride)? Two dosages of Fortekor Plus are available:
Dosage is approximately 0.25mg - 0.5mg of pimobendan per kg of bodyweight and 0.5mg - 1mg of benazepril per kg of body weight. Use the following as a guideline:
