What is VISIO TEARS (Polyvinyl Alcohol/Povidone IP/Chlorbutol IP) used for?

Visio Tears are an eye drop solution in an applicator bottle that can help relieve eyes in dogs and cats. They contain combination of Polyvinyl Alcohol, Povidone IP and Chlorbutol IP. Visio tears lubricate the surface of the dry eye and will help to stimulate tear production. It can also slow progression on any underlying disease in the eye that is causing these symptoms.

How should I use VISIO TEARS (Polyvinyl Alcohol/Povidone IP/Chlorbutol IP)?

One or two drops should be applied to the infected eye as often as needed to reduce irritation and dryness. Prior to use, wash your hands so you do not contaminate the solution.

What are the side effects of VISIO TEARS (Polyvinyl Alcohol/Povidone IP/Chlorbutol IP)?

Visio Tears are very well tolerated. Very occasionally your pet may exhibit visual disturbances, cloudy vision or extreme redness of the corneal tissue.

Please Note

If your dog shows signs of an allergic reaction to Visio Tears (hives, swelling, skin rashes, chest pains, trouble breathing or trouble swallowing) stop applying the eye drops and contact your vet as soon as possible.

Always wash your hands before and after use, and avoid skin contact with the tip of the applicator to avoid contamination.
